Our unit on weather was pretty long, which is to be expected as it contains a lot of information. Tater Tot, like many children, I suspect, was most interested in the extreme weather, with tornadoes topping that list. We covered a lot of information, but I feel like we kind of fizzled out toward the end. I believe with so much information to cover, it may have been more appropriate to focus on certain aspects of weather, rather than the overview approach. It just seemed to me that we both reached a point where we just didn't seem that interested in "doing weather" any more. However, having a good understanding of the basics will help Tater Tot when we cover these things more in depth in future years. All-in-all, it was an interesting unit with a vast amount of resources at our disposal, not the least of which was our mere powers of observation. This is what we wound up with.
